Especially worth writing about

  • A tool gave you the wrong output. This is the most useful kind of message. If you can include the input that caused it — with any real identifiers replaced — that turns a vague report into a fixable bug.
  • Something in a guide is wrong or unclear. Corrections are genuinely welcome, including the pedantic ones.
  • A tool is missing. If you keep hitting the same task and having to leave for another site, that is worth knowing.
  • Something is broken on your browser or device. Telling me which browser and version narrows it down enormously.

Before you send a file

Please strip anything real first. The whole reason this site processes your data in the browser is so that personal data never reaches anyone else — and emailing me a production export would defeat that completely. A small sample that reproduces the problem, with identifiers replaced by fake ones, is always more useful anyway.

Emails are used only to reply to you and to fix what you reported. They are not added to any mailing list and not shared. See the privacy policy for how the rest of the site handles data.
